Keyword Density Vs Keyword Stuffing
When crafting an article for SEO exposure propose, a client requested a keyword density of 10 percent should be achieved at least. In a 500 words article this wouldn’t be a problem if the keyword is “the” which means the keyword stated on that article should be repeated 50 times at least, but for a product or specific keyword or phrase that would be Keyword Stuffing.
People may think that if you repeat your words during the article you would get good exposure and high search engine ranking, but to tell you the truth if I’m reading an article and found out that specific phrase is being excessively repeated then i would just turn the page over or surf another one. That’s the same idea search engine bots working on, they will just ignore your article and you may get a bad point for that.
So the question here is what should be the keyword density that achieve it’s target? Well that would vary depending on your article, or whatsoever you want to achieve from it but it’s recommended to be from 2 to 3 percent of your total content.
Getting high search engine ranking is required for online business and e-marketing in general, but you have to be patient about it and wait till search engine gets you listed.
Keyword stuffing is not recommended in page titles or description as when a visitor gets into your link via search engine and found that there are no relevant content they would just go away back to the search engine and start looking for another site. Search bots keeps tracking on your visitors and see how they will interact with your site, will they go back to search engine and type the same keyword once again, or will they spend time on your site and interact with your content.
Search engines loves new content, and rich ones with link backs to other resources from your site and from other sites, so when you start writing the content for your website you might want to hire a good content writer or professional blogger to do this for you, with an easy to understand words, because at the end it’s all about Marketing…
